How does billing work under the HRPCS lodging program?

Under the HRPCS lodging program lodging costs are billed directly to the Department of State and guests are only responsible for damages and incidentals.

Am I eligible for the HRPCS lodging program?
Employees who are coming to the DC area for training, consultations, 10-day pack-outs, and in some cases those on MEDVAC are eligible to utilize the program. You can confirm eligibility by reaching out to your HR tech or HRPCS directly at GTMPCSLODGING@state.gov
What apartment size am I eligible for under the HRPCS lodging program?
Apartment sizes are assigned based on EFM’s so those traveling individually or with a spouse are authorized a one bedroom while those with additional EFM’s are authorized a two or three bedroom depending on family size.
Why do I need to provide three property choices for my lodging request and when will my apartment be assigned?
Since reservations are booked months, and sometimes years in advance we require three properties to be selected in order to guarantee availability. Specific apartment assignments are made ~7 days prior to arrival.
What is the Pet Policy?

All of our properties are pet friendly and the short-term pet fee for stays under 30 days is $10/Day while the long-term rate is a flat $350 for any stays over 30 days. Each property has a two-pet maximum and also a restricted breeds list for dogs so when reaching out to request a reservation please provide the breed of your dog to ensure it is not on your requested properties restricted breeds list.

Are early check in’s available?

Early check ins are available upon request. Please call in advance to confirm if your apartment will be ready for a check in early.

Are late checkouts available?

Late check out’s may be available upon request. Please call in advance to confirm if we can accommodate a late checkout.

Is parking included?

For Virginia properties only, 1 parking space is included and any additional parking space is subjected to an additional charge and is available upon request.

How many keys are issues at check-in, and are additional keys available if needed?

2 keys are provided and additional keys can be provided, but are subjected to an additional charge and is available upon request
